Privacy Policy.

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Jdeation DBA ThoughtStack.ai, a Texas company (“ThoughtStack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ThoughtStack.ai website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information — such as your email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
  • User content — the prompts, chats, Thoughts, Projects, and other content you create or submit while using the Service.
  • Payment information — billing details processed by our payment provider (see Section 3). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage data — information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited, features used, device and browser information, IP address, and approximate location.

2. AI Processing by Third-Party Providers

The Service works by sending the content you submit (for example, chat messages, prompts, and related context such as your Thoughts) to third-party artificial intelligence providers — for example, Anthropic (Claude) and other model providers — so their models can generate responses. These providers process your content on our behalf subject to their own terms and privacy practices. Do not submit content you are unwilling to have processed by such providers.

3. Payments and Billing

Payments, credit purchases, and billing information are handled by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. When you make a purchase, your payment details are provided directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We receive limited information from Stripe (such as transaction status and the last digits of a card) needed to operate billing and credits.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. We may use analytics tools that collect usage information through cookies or similar identifiers to help us improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality such as staying logged in.

5. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To process transactions and manage credits and billing.
  • To communicate with you about your account, the Service, and updates.
  • To monitor usage, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

6. How We Share Information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (including AI model providers, payment processors, hosting providers, and analytics providers), when required by law, in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, or with your consent. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may delete content you create within the Service, and you may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

8. Your Rights — GDPR (European Union / EEA)

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws, including the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format (data portability).
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@thoughtstack.ai.

9. Your Rights — CCPA (California)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you certain rights, including the right to:

  • Know what categories of personal information we collect and how we use and share it.
  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

California residents may exercise these rights by emailing privacy@thoughtstack.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
